Raffenday LTD REACH Statement - March 01, 2024

Under the definition of the REACH regulations EC1907/2006, Raffenday LTD is a producer of “articles”. REACH requires article suppliers to inform recipients if an article contains a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) in excess of 0.1% by weight. As of March 1st, 2024 there are 242 substances / entries on the SVHC candidate list. The list can be found at:

Substances fulfilling one or more of the criteria defined in Article 57 of the EU REACH Regulation can be identified as "substances of very high concern" (SVHC) and put on the "candidate List for authorization" which is also called "REACH SVHC list".

Substances on REACH SVHC list are:

• substances meeting the criteria for classification as carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic (CMR) category 1 or 2;
• persistent, bio-accumulative and toxic (PBT) substances; or
• very persistent and very bio-accumulative (vPvB) substances;
• substances for which there is evidence for similar concern, such as endocrine disruptor

Based on the material content certifications provided by Raffenday’s suppliers, none of these substances are present in the materials we use in our products, including packing and shipping materials. Therefore, Raffenday products do not contain any of these SVHC in excess of 0.1% by weight.

Raffenday LTD will continue to comply with REACH requirements and notify customers of any change in article content.
